CAT Of The WEEK!
Donations are our lifeblood and Essex Savings Bank gives thousands of dollars to help aid our efforts.
Essex Savings Bank will be collecting votes throughout the month of February. At the end of this period, the votes are tallied and translate into a percentage of the total amount of allocated funds. Support Forgotten Felines by voting!
Rules to vote:
If you are a customer of Essex Savings Bank you are eligible to vote for up to three of your favorite non-profit organizations beginning February 1 through February 28, 2021. A customer will be defined as any person having a loan, deposit account, or safe deposit box with the Bank. Each customer, regardless of the number of accounts held, will be allowed to complete only one ballot. Customers may vote electronically by logging onto their Essex Savings Bank online banking account or through the app. Paper ballots are available at any of the Bank’s five branch drive-throughs.

Our very own Reilly has a store to benefit all his friends at the shelter! I bet you did not know, but Reilly loves to ReCycle, ReUse and RePurpose (any wonder he resides in the Green Room?)! One of the main purposes of Reilly's ReTail Store is to make sure the items the shelter does not need does not get thrown out. It could be items that were donated that we have no use for and other items that were just unearthed like a lighted Christmas tree! We also have volunteers or friends of our kitties who love to make things for our shelter to sell, like the popular catnip filled fleece mats. Reilly would love to have as many cat-related items as possible.
Reilly's ReTail Store is not very big and is located right in the entrance of the shelter. If you happen to make anything you would like to donate to Reilly's Store, let us know! Small items are best and maybe just a few to start out.
Items that are not handmade will be priced so they sell quickly and need to be in very good condition or new. Prices will be reduced the longer it sits unsold.
Please contact us with any ideas or items you have. It will only be open to the public during Open Adoption Events. All donations need to be approved before dropping off because we do not have the space to store inventory. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or message us on our Facebook page!
