A Different Kind
Of Animal Shelter
FORGOTTEN FELINES is a private, all-volunteer, 501c3 organization in Westbrook, CT, serving ten towns along the Connecticut River and shoreline. We rescue homeless cats and kittens, care for them in our no-kill shelter and work to find them loving, adoptive homes.
SMITTEN WITH THIS KITTEN!!
Auggi is a darling 3 ½ month old gray tiger with a unique white blaze on his nose. He is always happy and constantly purring, and loves to play with toys, chase his tail and leap with excitement. Auggi would really like to be adopted into a home with his brother, Smudge, since they are very bonded. For an appointment to meet these special boys or any other cat or kitten, please call the Forgotten Felines adoption line at 860-669-1347 or apply online call 860-669-1347 or apply online at apply here on-line.
Not ready to add kittens to your home? We have lots of available adult cats waiting for homes as well. Please don’t overlook these fabulous felines.
Forgotten Felines can always use dedicated volunteers to look after our feline residents. If you have a couple of hours a week to help with our cats and are 18 years or older, please contact us here. Thank you for your patience.

Our very own Reilly has a store to benefit all his friends at the shelter! I bet you did not know, but Reilly loves to ReCycle, ReUse and RePurpose (any wonder he resides in the Green Room?)! One of the main purposes of Reilly's ReTail Store is to make sure the items the shelter does not need does not get thrown out. It could be items that were donated that we have no use for and other items that were just unearthed like a lighted Christmas tree! We also have volunteers or friends of our kitties who love to make things for our shelter to sell, like the popular catnip filled fleece mats. Reilly would love to have as many cat-related items as possible.
Reilly's ReTail Store is not very big and is located right in the entrance of the shelter. If you happen to make anything you would like to donate to Reilly's Store, let us know! Small items are best and maybe just a few to start out.
Items that are not handmade will be priced so they sell quickly and need to be in very good condition or new. Prices will be reduced the longer it sits unsold.
Please contact us with any ideas or items you have. It will only be open to the public during Open Adoption Events. All donations need to be approved before dropping off because we do not have the space to store inventory. Contact us at email@example.com or message us on our Facebook page!
