FORGOTTEN FELINES is a private, all-volunteer, 501c3 organization in Westbrook, CT, serving ten towns along the Connecticut River and shoreline.

We rescue homeless cats and kittens,  care for them in our no-kill shelter and work to find them loving, adoptive homes.

Forgotten Felines 2019 Annual Cookie Collection

Thank you to all the volunteers who baked for the Forgotten Felines 2019 cookie collection.  The assortment of cookies was incredible, with a variety of colors, textures, and shapes.   We have some extraordinary bakers among this volunteer group.  Truly impressive!

The cookie boxes were delivered to deserving recipients, all of whom contributed to Forgotten Felines throughout the year by providing goods or services to our organization.

A cute picture of Laura (with her cat ears) delivering the cookies to the Shore Publishing staff.  They always look forward with great enthusiasm to receiving the homemade cookies baked by our volunteers. and edit me. It's easy.

SHOPPING ON AMAZON?

Sign Up For Our Newsletter:

Our very own Reilly has a store to benefit all his friends at the shelter! I bet you did not know, but Reilly loves to ReCycle, ReUse and RePurpose (any wonder he resides in the Green Room?)! One of the main purposes of Reilly's ReTail Store is to make sure the items the shelter does not need does not get thrown out. It could be items that were donated that we have no use for and other items that were just unearthed like a lighted Christmas tree! We also have volunteers or friends of our kitties who love to make things for our shelter to sell, like the popular catnip filled fleece mats. Reilly would love to have as many cat-related items as possible.

Reilly's ReTail Store is not very big and is located right in the entrance of the shelter. If you happen to make anything you would like to donate to Reilly's Store, let us know! Small items are best and maybe just a few to start out.

Items that are not handmade will be priced so they sell quickly and need to be in very good condition or new. Prices will be reduced the longer it sits unsold.

Please contact us with any ideas or items you have. It will only be open to the public during Open Adoption Events. All donations need to be approved before dropping off because we do not have the space to store inventory. Contact us at  ffelinesct@gmail.com or message us on our Facebook page!

Cat of the Week

THE BELLISSIMA OF THE BALL!

Bellissima (bell-EES-i-muh) is an easy going kitty with a complicated name that means
“most beautiful” in Italian. This gorgeous dilute tortoiseshell arrived at the shelter with her kittens over 3 years ago, and why she hasn’t been adopted yet is a mystery. She is the first to greet people at the door, dolphins up to any hand that offers petting, and loves to play with the laser pointer. Although she adores the Forgotten Felines volunteers, she is hoping that this is her year to find a furever home! To adopt
Bellissima or to adopt any other cat or kitten, please call the Forgotten Felines adoption line at 860-669-1347 or apply online at
www.forgottenfelinesct.org.

Forgotten Felines needs shelter volunteers to help clean and care for the cats. Can you
spare a few hours a week to make a difference in the lives of our Forgotten Felines? If so, please call the volunteer line at the number shown above.
